How Do You Talk About Rotary? – Michael Angelo Caruso

Michael Angelo Caruso is a “lifetime Rotarian” based in District 6380. His home club is the Rotary Club of Troy, Michigan. Mr. Caruso was introduced to Rotary via the old Group Study Exchange (GSE) program, now known as Vocational Training Teams (VTT).

“There was a long preparation period prior to the trip,” says Michael, “And I learned more about Rotary in six months than most Rotarians learn in six years.”

“I was so impressed with this great service organization, that I decided to join as soon as I got back from South Africa.” Michael has now been a Rotarian for 20 years.

He’s served many positions at the club and District level, specializing in public image and leadership.   Mr. Caruso will serve as Governor of  Rotary District 6380 in southeast Michigan and western Ontario Canada in 2016-17. Michael is a professional speaker who teaches presentation skills and he often gives back to Rotary.

Mr. Caruso has helped raise over $250,000 for Rotary by waiving his speaker fee at dozens of Rotary fundraisers all over North America.
